Agile Project Manager (offline)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Agile Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing developer teams in startup environments and be confident with tools such as Github, Linear, and Agile development practices. As our team is fully remote, the candidate must have substantial experience working remotely and managing remote teams. Familiarity with technologies like Java and React is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

• Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Agile Practices

• Implement and promote Agile methodologies within the team.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.
• Continuously improve Agile processes to enhance team efficiency and productivity.

Team Leadership

• Manage and mentor a team of developers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Provide clear direction, set expectations, and offer constructive feedback to team members.
• Encourage professional development and growth within the team.

Remote Team Management

• Effectively manage a fully remote team, ensuring clear communication and collaboration.
• Utilize remote collaboration tools to maintain team cohesion and productivity.
• Address and resolve any challenges related to remote work.

Technical Oversight

• Collaborate with the development team to ensure technical feasibility and alignment with project goals.
• Provide guidance on best practices for using Github, Linear, and other development tools.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to our platform.

Stakeholder Communication

• Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates and reports.
• Facilitate communication between the development team and other departments, such as marketing and customer support.
• Ensure stakeholder requirements are clearly understood and incorporated into project plans.

Qualifications

Experience

• Proven experience managing developer teams in startup environments.
• Demonstrated success in delivering complex projects using Agile methodologies.
• Experience working remotely and managing remote teams.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency with Github and Linear.
• Familiarity with Agile development practices.
• Knowledge of Java and React is a plus.

Education
