QA Automation

We are looking for an experienced QA Automation to work with one of our clients in the US based Data Analytics industry.

About the Role:

As a Java Automation Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks using Java and other relevant technologies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and quality assurance analysts to identify test requirements, develop test plans, and execute test cases.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and Maintain Automated Test Frameworks: Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable automated test frameworks using Java and other relevant technologies.

2. Test Planning and Execution: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify test requirements, develop test plans, and execute test cases to ensure the quality and reliability of software products.

3. Test Automation: Develop and execute automated test scripts to validate software functionality, performance, and scalability.

4. Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects using defect tracking tools. Work closely with development teams to prioritize and resolve defects in a timely manner.

5. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation including test plans, test cases, and test reports.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

2. Strong proficiency in Java programming language.

3. Proven experience (3+ years) in software quality assurance and test automation.

4. Experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cucumber, or TestNG.

5. Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines like AzureDevOps.

6. Experience with automation E2E, API and writing Unit-Tests.

7. Experience of working with databases and writing SQL queries

8. Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) are a plus.
