Junior Manual QA Opinion Corp (offline)

We are looking for a Junior Manual QA who will help us to maintain and improve the quality of our product.

Opinion Corp (part of WiserBrand) is an international product company with more than 15 years of experience in customer service and consumer advocacy.

We’ve created one of the most popular English-speaking online platforms for collecting reviews and complaints about companies, goods, and services in the Western market.

Opinion Corp’s mission is to build communication bridges between consumers and brands to help them achieve successful outcomes.

Requirements:

-0.5+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer;

-General knowledge and understanding of testing approaches and methodologies; software development life cycle, bug life cycle; technical testing documentation: test plan, checklists, test cases; requirements management and error tracking tools;

-Basic knowledge of data selection operators (MySQL)

-Knowledge and understanding of the basic principles of client-server architecture;

-Ability to work in multitasking mode;

-Great team player and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision;

-Critical thinker and problem-solving skills;

-Intermediate (written and spoken) or higher.

Will be a plus:

-Higher technical education

-Experience with Agile/Scrum development process;

-Experience with bug-tracking systems (JIRA, etc) and Postman;

-Understanding what HTML, CSS, XML, JSON and REST are and how they work.

Responsibilities:

-Analysis and testing of requirements;

-Product testing according to requirements;

-Writing and updating test documentation (test cases, checklists, etc.);

-Work with bug-tracking system (JIRA) and test management system (Zephyr);

-Working with a database at the level of writing queries of medium complexity (MySQL);

-Interaction with various departments to obtain additional product requirements.
