Technical Support Specialist

Project Description:

Luxoft LMD - Learning Management and Development - is a unit within the Talent Acquisition & Management of the DXC Luxoft Company. Being a part of the global company, our main scope is to provide all kinds of learning opportunities for our employees in 29 countries all over the world, as well as for external participants in the training sessions when it is required. Instructor-led online classes globally organized are the LMD key learning services, though in some of our historical locations such as Ukraine, Poland, Romania and India we still have ready-for-use classroom environments and upon request, we conduct training sessions in class.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide full technical support for the process of organizing training globally:

- сonsulting and assisting TM & Admin in the implementation of the technical requirements of the course;

- processing requests from administrators to prepare and support the technical environment required for training sessions;

- interacting with trainers to meet their expectations in building the necessary technical environment for a training course by means LMD owns;

- solving technical problems should they arise during the course;

2. Managing LMD tech environment:

- keeping the list of software used by LMD up to date;

- negotiating with vendors, purchasing new licenses or renewing existing licenses as needed;

- cooperating with DXC and Luxoft IT services in order to operate within corporate policy and regulatory rules;

- managing LMD AWS and Azure servers and clusters;

- managing the list of Virtual Machine Templates & Course Tech Requirements up to date

(ensuring the quality and stable operation of services, Gitlab server administration, deployment and administration of the Hadoop cluster, deployment and administration of Windows and Linux instances, etc)

3. Implementation and administration of the LMD SharePoint space:

- Access management;

- User support;

4. Managing LMD Zoom accounts;

5. Research and implementation of new services and tools by request

6. Budgeting, controlling, procurement, and approval of applications for spending funds (equipment, licenses, subscriptions). Equipment and license management.

9. Processing, converting of video materials.

Mandatory Skills Description:

- Knowledge & experience of communication and training tools (Outlook, Teams, Zoom, etc.)

- Knowledge and experience with OneDrive, VM, SharePoint.

- Knowledge and experience in Windows/Linux administration.

- Higher education (technical).

Nice-to-Have Skills:- At least 1 year experience in a similar position
