Project Manager for a FinTech startup (offline)

Responsibilities:

• Organise work of the development team

• Clarify and refine technical and business requirements from stakeholders

• Collaborate with the dev team to clarify requirements

• Establish and improve the process for collecting requirements from stakeholders and their prioritization in the product backlog

• Keep the backlog in good shape (in Jira)

• Clarify and improve SDLC and delivery process

• Ensure product quality and dev team efficiency

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a Project manager (and/or as a Product Owner or Scrum Master)

• Experience in FinTech or with projects for finance and banking

• Ability to listen, collaborate, and learn

• Ability to support and mentor team

• English - Upper-Intermediate, ability to communicate in the international team, US

• Nice to have:

• • Knowledge of CI/CD using GitLab (or GitHub),

• • Knowledge of AWS services, including Lambda, RDS, and EC2,

• • Best engineering practices and understanding of branching strategies

The client is a FinTech startup created by experienced bankers specifically for the finance sector (banks and financial institutions), targeting and resolving inefficiencies in the client onboarding process.

Main techs used in the startup:

• React, Node.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, Antd

• GitLab

• Hosted on AWS (RDS, EC2, Lambda, S3, Route53, OpenSearch Service, Textract, Amplify, Lightsail, CloudFront)

• Other: Cloudflare, Brevo, Snyk, Python, Tesseract, etc.

Functionality is grouped into 3 main parts:

Client Onboarding: For customers of banks and financial institutions

Back Office: CRM-like system for bankers
