Sales Team Lead (B2B, EMi)

PayDo is the payment platform providing IBAN and local accounts, merchant, mass payments, virtual and plastic cards in the United Kingdom, European Union, Canada and internationally. All services are available within one account, one setup and by one obligation free contract.

 

PayDo is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Team Lead to lead our B2B sales efforts in the Fintech industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in driving revenue growth and building an effective Sales team.

 

Location: Remote from anywhere

Reporting line: Head of Sales and Head of Operations

Team structure: Sales Agents and Lead Generation team

Prioritized markets: Canada or UK (you will be with existing Head of Sales)

 

What you will do:

1. As a business lead:

Help in developing and implementing a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with PayDo's overall business objectives:

– Conduct thorough market research to identify target markets, customer needs, and competitive landscapes

– Analyze sales data and trends to identify areas for improvement and potential opportunities

– Formulate and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share

– Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer success, to ensure alignment across the organization

 

2. As a leader:

Lead and manage a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and quotas:

– Recruit, hire, and onboard high-performing sales professionals with the skills and expertise to meet sales goals

– Provide ongoing coaching, training, and development to enhance the skills and knowledge of the sales team

– Establish clear performance expectations, set individual quotas, and monitor team performance against metrics

– Motivate and inspire the sales team to achieve their targets, address challenges, and celebrate successes

 

3. As a salesperson:

Track and analyze sales performance data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement:

– Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure sales performance, such as revenue growth, conversion rates, and customer acquisition costs

– Regularly monitor sales data and identify trends, patterns, or anomalies that may require further analysis

– Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement, such as optimizing sales processes, enhancing training programs, or refining marketing campaigns

– Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and improve sales strategies and outcomes

 

 

What we would like to see:

– Minimum of 3 years of experience in international B2B sales, with at least 2 years of managerial experience

– Experience of working in a Fintech/Banking industry

– Managerial experience leading and motivating a team of sales professionals

– Proven track record of success in driving revenue growth and exceeding sales targets

– Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills

– Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders

– Advanced proficiency in English and Ukrainian/russian

– Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field is an advantage

– Understanding of high-risk and low-risk industries, as well as the regulatory landscape, would be a strong plus
