Senior DevOps (offline)

They are on a mission to make networking effortless, smart, and productive for everyone.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior DevOps Engineer to join our client's team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about automation, cloud infrastructure, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.

The successful candidate will be instrumental in designing, deploying, and managing our cloud-based infrastructure with a focus on scalability, security, and efficiency.

Reporting to the VP of Engineering, you will work with diverse remote teams. The client is located in NYC but has a remote-first culture, and this is a remote role.

Requirements:

- Proven experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or similar roles.

- Strong experience with AWS and GCP.

- Familiar in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)

- Proficient with scripting languages (Typescript preferred).

- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and cloud functions.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities:

- Design and implement scalable, secure, and robust cloud infrastructure solutions using AWS and GCP.

- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, or Google Cloud Deployment Manager.

- Work closely with development teams to integrate DevOps practices into their development lifecycle.

- Automate deployment processes and implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like Github Actions.

- Monitor cloud environments and implement performance enhancements and security measures.

- Collaborate with IT and cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.

- Provide technical guidance and support to other team members.

There are several small engineering teams (located in India, Ukraine, Spain):

- Growth Team: 1 React Engineer, 1 Woocommerce Engineer, 2 Backend Engineers, Team Lead

- Product Team: 2 Flutter Engineers, 2 Backend Engineers, Team Lead

- Operations Team: 1 Front End/React Engineer, 2 Backend Engineers.
