Automation QA Engineer (offline)

Project Description:
The Corporate Investment Bank (CIB) technology team have an established Client Relationship Management (CRM) programme to implement a group wide Salesforce platform. Delivery of CRM functionality to improve customer experience and cost/ value decisions across the CIB divisions. The programme will rationalise the wider CRM system landscape seeking to optimise for efficiency and reduce the total cost of ownership. The business are looking to gain value through adding sophisticated CRM tools, analytics and technologies leveraging the Salesforce platform capabilities integration of cloud and DB on premise technology. The program also is focusing on creating a Sales workbench across CIB for a more integrated Sales desktop environment for better interaction with Clients.

The Strategic Salesforce Programme is looking to hire a Sr.QA Engineer to support our global Development teams on Quality Assurance and Testing. The Programme follows a DevOps approach, so testing is integrated in the Development teams hence there is a need for a technical background and hands on experience in test automation.
You will be proactive on the entire product lifecycle with all quality assurance activities ensuring that the software meets the highest standards of quality before delivering to customers. Creation and execution of test scenarios through test automation within Sprints (under Agile Scrum) for faster test cycles on new software releases, while ensuring adherence to the DB Global Testing Standards throughout.

Experience/Exposure:
• Significant experience on QA Engineering, 8+ years of experience in Quality Assurance role with Test Automation experience
• Good understanding and Hands on experience with agile/scrum deliveries
• Experience with DevOps tools for CI testing (e.g. Selenium with Cucumber, Jenkins, GitHub, Team City)
• Experience on Test Management Tools (eg: JAMA, ALM)
• Experience using JIRA for planning & defect management.
• Salesforce/CRM or Web based testing experience
• Knowledge of Database testing and SQL scripts
• Knowledge of API testing (eg: REST API, SOAP UI, gatling)
• Ability to work in fast paced environment and create a positive working atmosphere.
• Passion about sharing knowledge and best practices, and promote collaboration.
• Ability to work in virtual teams and in matrix organisations

Responsibilities:
• Continuesly driving high quality software delivery as part of an Agile Scrum Team, through test planning, execution and defect triage, all underpinned by test automation
• In-sprint testing and creation of test scenarios/automation scripts
• Ensure all acceptance criteria are met and end-to-end integration points are covered for the completion of development and testing
• Ensure all Defects are triaged with Programme Management team and prioritized appropriately
• Ensure that the necessary testing artifacts/reports are produced as per the DB Global Testing Standards.
• Escalate Risks & issues on time
• Suport DevOps processes by maintaining regression scripts for Continuous Integration
• Work in conjunction with multi-national and globally diverse teams
• Ensure adherence to testing best practices
• Cross browser and platform testing and automation

Mandatory Skills:
• Ability to create test automation frameworks and test scripts (eg: Selenium, Provar, Protractor, Appium)
• Test Design patterns like Page object model, Page factory in cucumber, robot framework
• Experience in Salesforce applications development, configuration and implementation.
• DevOps tooling (such as; Eclipse, GitHub, BitBucket, Jira, Jama, Confluence, Crucible, Jenkins and TeamCity)
• Understanding of the Java programming language and Enterprise Integration Solutions

Nice-to-Have Skills: • Knowledge of Cloud Solutions and hosting / cloud patterns such as Kubernates and Docker
