Senior QA Manager (with Network TCP/IP skills) (offline)

Project Description:
Our client is a leading global Financial market data provider who runs a number of change programs to deliver high-quality software that connects Financial Markets across the globe in a real-time, high-frequency, and low-latency data management chain. The projects are technically challenging in an environment that is very engaging.

We are looking for a QA Manager with experience in testing backend systems and services running under Linux, with capabilities to collaborate in a team-focused environment and coordinate work with BA, Dev, Operational, and cross-functional application teams.
Responsibilities:
We are looking for a hands-on QA Manager who is comfortable working with Senior Stakeholders and has proven experience of managing test activities from several teams, responding to technical questions and putting in strong quality assurance practices across SDLC. You will be primarily responsible for:
• Defining Test Strategy on Program level
• Setting quality related processes and best practices across all teams
• Defining the scope of testing within the context of each release / delivery
• Ensuring the appropriate planning and management of the test resources
• Defining standards in testing reports, quality gates
• Applying the appropriate test measurements and metrics in the product and the Testing Team
• Driving continuous improvement in terms of Quality and be a kind of a "gatekeeper" for various testing stages
• Be the driver for test automation adoption and CI/CD implementation
• Being the point of escalation for quality related issues.
Mandatory Skills Description:
• Technical background, ideally with 7+ years of professional QA, IT outsourcing industry, Consultancy Experience
• Expert understanding of Agile delivery frameworks, processes, practices tools and why they are important, SAFe experience is a plus
• Ability to work with and coach large cross-functional / distributed teams
• Working with multiple stakeholders and be able to report an appropriate level of details related to QA.
• Need to be adept at working with ambiguity and proactive to gain clarity.
• Need to be skilled in working with strong and challenging stakeholders under time pressure, ensuring that a high quality benchmark is achieved and delivered.
• Not afraid to say no if quality isn't at the right level.
• Not afraid to suggest and implement new ways of working
• Experience with Linux and Windows Operating Systems
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of TCP/IP & UDP Multicast fundamentals and solving problems
• Knowledge of C++ or scripting languages Python, Unix, Shell
Nice-to-Have Skills:
• ISTQB
• Working in Financial projects is an advantage, nice to have knowledge in Fixed income
• Knowledge of Market Data
