Senior Node.js Developer

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and reliable backend systems using Node.js.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Implement data processing pipelines for handling large volumes of environmental data.
- Optimize application performance and scalability through code refactoring and system architecture improvements.
- Conduct code reviews, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure quality and reliability.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in software development, AI, and carbon management.


Requirements:
- Proven experience in developing backend applications using Node.js and Python.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and Python programming languages.
- Familiarity with modern web development frameworks and libraries (e.g., Express.js, Flask).
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Passion for sustainability and environmental stewardship is a plus.
- Level of English: Upper-intermediate and higher.
