Tech Lead (DRF) for Fintech Project

Dataforest is Seeking a Tech Lead (DRF) to join an interesting Fintech project. We are building a payment system that helps SME and Private individuals to improve access to financial services like easy account opening, money transfers, and so on. As a Tech Lead, you will collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define proper development processes and meet product expectations. You will develop solution architecture and API development and guide the payment gateway integration process.


Skills Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience with Python;
• 3+ years of experience with Django/DRF and RESTful APIs;
• Experience with payment systems integration (as a plus);
• Familiarity with PHP/Laravel (as a plus);
• Experience with Celery, Kafka (Optional);
• Knowledge of cloud solutions: AWS;
• Experience in multithreading/multiprocessing approaches;
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines;
• Previous experience in a Team Lead role (Optional);


Key responsibilities:

• Manage the development process and support team members;
• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using Django Rest Framework (DRF).
• Write and maintain technical documentation.
• Keep clean and well-structured code that is easy to read and maintain;
• Participate in decision-making processes related to design architecture, solution development, architectural, and code reviews;
• Conduct R&D work with new technology;
• Maintain high-quality coding standards within the team.
