Required skills

β€” 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
β€” Experience as a Product Owner or/and Product Manager
β€” Experience working with Product Owners in Scrum teams
β€” Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into functional specifications
β€” Practical knowledge and experience of the Atlassian software suite Method
β€” Proactivity, ability to communicate assertively and effectively

Responsibilities

β€” Gather and analyze business requirements from various stakeholders, including clients, internal teams, and external partners
β€” Translate business requirements into functional specifications for software development teams
β€” Develop project plans and timelines to ensure timely delivery of project milestones
β€” Conduct gap analysis to identify areas for improvement in current business processes
β€” Assist with project management activities, including risk management, issue tracking, and status reporting
β€” Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and quality assurance teams, to ensure successful delivery of projects
β€” Manage UI/UX: prototyping, validation with customers, usability testing; scope planning for design team
β€” Develop and maintain documentation, including business process flows, use cases, and user stories
β€” Conduct user acceptance testing and assist with user training and adoption of new solutions
β€” Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to inform business decisions and process improvements

Client is a British online company that provides fast and easy working capital funding to small businesses in South Africa. We develop a Bank accounting platform for SMEs where they can manage their bank accounts, analyze spending, generate and share invoices or get funding, and much more.

The project has challenging tasks and a lot of space for self-development. The client is a big believer in Agile. We have sprints, daily stand-ups, well-facilitated poker planning, and backlog in Jira. All processes are well-documented. The client is pretty flexible, and all your suggestions are highly appreciated.
