Who we are

Mixfame is the fastest growing online audition and self-promotion platform in the middle east, launched in 2016 in Dubai. More than 250.000 talents across the MENA region has used our platform to promote themselves, land opportunities in the entertainment industry and get discovered. From the housewife-turned-billboard-star to the thousands of aspiring talents that star in TV Commercials, movies, TV shows and much more with the help of Mixfame.com.

 

We are a team of 20 colleagues in our Dubai and Riyadh offices that all believe we will do some of our most impactful work in our careers, here at Mixfame.com touching the lives of hundreds of thousands of people, one casting-call at a time.

 

Why are we hiring for this role?

We’ve been growing organically for the past 5 years and while that was great – we need someone to take ownership of our marketing channels and activities now and further develop them.

We’ve worked with a combination of freelancers and internal knowledge up until now but with expansion plans pending, it’s time to get this role established and onboarded to streamline our activities.

 

Who are you?

You are a do’er. You don’t waste time overseeing, but constantly strive to test, develop and grow marketing channels to impact business KPIs. You are a great communicator and understand how to attract, build and nurture relationships with our users through all digital marketing channels.

 

You ideally have experience across a wide range of marketing activities such as:

• Performance Marketing (Google, Bing)

• Digital Marketing (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok)

• E-mail marketing (One-to-one and one-to-many across drip and )

• Customer journeys and sign up flows

• A/B testing

• Analysing data and extracting learnings from it

 

Results are daily, decisions are fast, no politics, just action! Sounds cool right? Compared to the rigid structure of ‘corporate’ it is a breath of fresh air.

What you will be responsible for?

You will report into our CEO, Ally – and work closely with our head of projects in Dubai Arty as well as our Product & Development teams to tailor the Mixfame to our users. You will be in charge of managing the marketing KPI’s such as MRR, Churn, Signups, Conversion rate, marketing spend etc.

When you join, the first 3 months will likely be spent on:

1. Review current marketing activities and develop a marketing report of status quo.

2. Find low-hanging fruits and quick-wins across the marketing activities.

3. Meet with stakeholders and become a Mixfame power-user.

4. Develop a solid plan for our marketing activities, present and get buy-in.

 

Once you settle in, you will:

1. Find new marketing channels to drive signups and growth in our user base.

2. Develop a financial plan to achieve ROI on a growing marketing budget.

3. Help Product and Management with expansion and Go To Market plans for new markets.

4. Develop an A/B testing framework and execute on it.

5. Meticulously test and iterate and report on wins and losses

 

What you will need to be successful?

• Strong communication skills in English

• Excellent project management abilities and ability to manage stressful periods

• Proven track record in digital marketing activities ideally for a marketplace or subscription product
