QA Engineer
Your role and impact:
As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the quality of our cutting-edge payment solutions. Your efforts in identifying, reporting, and tracking bugs, along with your active involvement in the entire software development lifecycle, will directly contribute to the reliability and performance of our products. You'll collaborate with a dynamic team to push the boundaries of what's possible in the fintech industry.
Your key responsibilities:
- Reproducing problems and describing them in detailed bug reports. Communicating these findings to project managers or senior specialists and coordinating efforts until problems are resolved.
- Tracking all project corrections.
- Engaging in various forms of testing including functional, manual, integration, regression, API, payment methods and requirements testing.
- Making GET, POST, Postman and SQL (SELECT, WHERE, GROUP BY and others) requests.
- Performing calculations for simple cases using Maths, check out.
- Working closely with development, design, and product management teams to coordinate work efforts and ensure quality standards are met.
- Proposing enhancements for the tested features based on analytical insights.
-Communicating with customers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to execute effective testing strategies.
Requirements & skills:
- Familiarity with SDLC, STLC, Database Management Systems, API testing, and DevTools.
- Proficient understanding of Agile development methodology, including Scrum and Kanban frameworks.
- Knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS protocols, and various testing methodologies and techniques.
- Ability to create and manage test documentation efficiently.
- Proven analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and product orientation.
- Strong communication skills and an upper-intermediate level of English.
- Experience in analyzing the interaction of tested features with other system components.
- A proactive and achievement-oriented approach to work.
