Product Owner (Trading)

Founded in 2013, CEX.IO connects people and businesses with opportunities in cryptocurrencies and decentralized finance. Our global ecosystem includes a market-leading exchange and offers 360-degree services to crypto market participants, including retail and enterprise crypto holders, as well as professional traders and financial institutions.

We are scaling and increasing the breadth of existing products and services and thus, looking for a talented Product Manager for one of the CEX.IO products.

As a part of the Product Management team, you will play a vital role that will serve as the bridge between the customers and the development team supplying the product vision, managing stakeholders, and driving value. Having a profound knowledge of the market landscape and the customer needs you will make strategy decisions about the direction of the product and its’ features development through prioritizing roadmaps.


You will own:

- One of the CEX.IO products’ strategy, including P&L management.
- Value-based roadmap along with the company-wide communication and alignment necessary for smooth execution and go-to-market.
- Qualitative and quantitative product analytics & insights – constantly looking for the intersection between customer needs and desired business outcomes.
- Collaboration with Design, Engineering, and Analytics teams focused on the delivery.

Who you are:
- Experience owning a product P&L with specific experience in crypto/FinTech services.
- Proven experience creating innovative new product capabilities and confidence in taking your ideas from inception to execution.
- You are a leader focused on drumbeat delivery and measuring the outcomes.
- You balance value, technical feasibility, and usability in roadmap decision-making.
- You have excellent communication skills and consistently meet internal constituents with just the right information.
- You are decisive and can manage ambiguous or conflicting inputs into solid action plans and precise requirements.
- You focus on exceptional customer experiences and pay close attention to how your product fits within the portfolio.
- You are a good listener and can distill input from many different teams into actionable steps forward.

Key competencies:
- 3+ years of product management experience within the FinTech industry.
- Knowledge of the crypto markets trading - wallets, custody, DEX, CEX, fiat on/off ramps - either in a professional capacity or by way of personal trading experience.
- Confident in product performance metrics analysis.
- Able to create and maintain a predictable sprint-to-sprint delivery.
- Able to articulate the product strategy and roadmap, structure problems, experienced and when needed, comfortable forming cross-team alignment.
