Staffing Lead

Jabil Software Services (JSS) is the premier software consulting services arm of Jabil that provides custom software solutions to our customers. We are looking for an experienced, self-motivated Staffing Lead to join our Software Engineering Services Team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a software services organization, with proven leadership skills as well as experience working in a global organization. Organizational and Process Management skills are essential as are qualities of agility and decisiveness. Responsibilities include working with our business development stakeholders in identify customer resource requirements and collaborating with Talent Acquisition and Software vendors to build pipelines of candidates that meet customer requirements. The successful candidate will own the staffing processes as well as drive continuous improvement of these processes.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Leadership:
β€” Provide clear direction, guidance, and mentorship to the Staffing Team.
β€” Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture within the Staffing Team.
β€” Assess the capacity and workload of the Staffing Team to ensure the workload is balanced between the Staffing Team members.

Resource management and project staffing:
β€” Lead decision-making processes and activities related to outsourcing/hiring/internal resources allocation, including the selection of vendors based on considerations of cost, quality, and location.
β€” Manage requisition requests from hiring managers, Business Unit Directors (BUDs) and Project Managers (PMs), ensuring comprehensive information is readily available to the recruitment team, vendors, and interviewers.
β€” Ownership and responsibility for staffing processes, establishing metrics/KPIs and driving efficiencies through process improvement.
β€” Monitor and track the utilization of internal resources, ensuring that the capacity of resources assigned to projects is fully utilized and paid.
β€” Identify underutilized or non-billable resources and proactively communicate this list to leadership and business development to facilitate the efficient allocation of these resources to billable activities.
β€” Accurate and timely reporting of underutilized/non-billable internal resources to the leadership.
β€” Accurate and timely reporting of progress regarding the execution of filling requisition requirements.

Interview management:
β€” Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and clients, considering everyone's availability and time zones if applicable.
β€” Send out interview invitations, confirmations, and reminders to all parties involved.
β€” Coordinate interview panels by identifying internal interviewers given their specialization, and capacities, and adding interview panels to the requisition information for the given role.
β€” Consolidate and analyze interview feedback to identify candidates for staffing options/client interviews.
β€” Facilitate meetings with interview panels to discuss candidate assessments, share feedback, and reach a consensus on hiring decisions.
β€” Provide feedback summaries and insights on candidates to decision-makers.
β€” Deliver comprehensive training and guidance to interviewers, ensuring they conduct structured interviews aligned with the client's specific interview criteria and expectations.
β€” Continuously assess the effectiveness of the interview process and make recommendations for improvements to provide the best candidates to clients and improve staffing KPIs.

Vendor Relationship Management:
β€” Coordinate with PMs to collect and maintain up-to-date release dates for vendor resources.
β€” Foster strong and collaborative relationships with key vendors.
β€” Regularly engage with vendors to discuss ongoing and upcoming resource needs and communicate any issues or concerns stated by PMs.
β€” Implement vendor performance metrics and KPIs to track vendor effectiveness and service quality.
β€” Analyze the business models of current vendors to understand their pricing structures and value propositions.
β€” Leverage insights from past vendor engagements to secure competitive pricing for future staffing.

Education & Experience Requirements
β€” Bachelor's Degree required.
β€” Degree in Human Resources or equivalent.
β€” Three (3) to five (5) years work-related experience required in a relevant human resources position, with a highlight on software technologies, markets, and processes.
β€” At least 3 years’ experience working in a Global Enterprise organization.
β€” At least 3 years’ experience working in a Software Engineering Services organization.
β€” Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
