Senior Elixir developer

We are in search of a Senior Elixir Developer to join our innovative product team. Our project is an e-quiz platform currently under development, designed to deliver an engaging, interactive, and customizable quiz experience for a diverse range of industries.

As we onboard our first enterprise client, we aim to develop a solution that not only fulfills unique corporate requirements but also addresses the needs of a broader public through its scalable and integration capabilities.

This role is suited for a proactive developer with a passion for crafting scalable, high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate will possess a problem-solving mindset, a dedication to quality, and the capability to thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

Requirements:

A minimum of 5 years of relevant IT experience.
A strong background in backend development.
At least 3 years of experience in building web apps with Elixir Phoenix.
Proficiency in the Erlang VM, OTP for constructing distributed systems.
Skilled in crafting efficient Ecto SQL queries and fine-tuning them as required.
Knowledgeable in utilizing REST or GraphQL-based APIs.
Experienced with web sockets and LiveView.
An intermediate or higher level of English proficiency.
Duties:

Work in collaboration with product and engineering teams to architect the e-quiz platform.
Continuously assess and enhance the solution architecture.
Design, implement, and oversee database schemas utilizing Ecto.
Create efficient SQL queries and adjust them as needed to ensure seamless data operations and platform responsiveness.
Employ web sockets and LiveView for real-time engagement within the quiz platform, facilitating live updates and interactive experiences.
Adhere to code quality best practices, including test writing, code reviews, and the execution of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI CD) processes, to maintain the platform's reliability, security, and standard compliance.
