Senior AQA Engineer (offline) $1500-3000

We're looking for a passionate AQA Engineer to join our team and play a vital role in ensuring the quality of our web application built with cutting-edge technologies like Angular, TypeScript, NestJS, Node.js, and MySQL.

You'll Be Responsible For:
1) Delivering Exceptional Quality: You'll design, execute, and report on thorough test cases to identify and document any bugs or inconsistencies. Your keen eye for detail and comprehensive understanding of the system will be crucial in preventing issues and ensuring a seamless user experience.
2) Continuous Improvement: We value proactive problem-solvers! You'll help us refine our QA processes and suggest areas for improvement, ensuring our testing remains efficient and effective.
3) Automation Expertise: Experience with tools such as Cypress is very important. You'll help us automate repetitive tasks and increase test coverage.

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess
1) Technical Skills
- Good understanding of the project and domain area. We help to onboard to domain area, however if you have experience in Aviation and Catering, it is beneficial.
- Solid experience creating E2E tests for Cypress and Cucumber.
Effective use of a favorite development environment (IDE, editor).
- Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with Atlassian products Jira/Confluence.
- Effective use of debugging tools (Chrome/Firefox DevTools, IDE/editor debugger).
- Basic knowledge of the version control system – Git.
- Cross-browser and cross-platform testing expertise. (Optional: API testing)
- Basic understanding of Figma (for design inspection) and browser DevTools (finding elements, finding API requests and other necessary information).

2) Soft Skills
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize effectively.
- Proactive and results-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement.

3) Bonus Points for
- Aviation Enthusiast: While we provide domain training, prior experience in the aviation industry is a definite benefit.
- AI Tools: Experience using AI tools (ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot) to write tests will be a plus.
- API Testing: Experience with validating API functionality and reliability is a plus.
