Manual QA Engineer (offline)

To keep and improve the quality of our product we are seeking a candidate who is able to learn quickly and willing to discover new opportunities.

Currently, the QA team is at capacity and we need more resources to free up some space for our experienced QAs so we can reduce lead time of client facing issues and improve quality of deliveries.

Our perfect candidate is a Strong Junior — Middle QA.

🏡 We prefer candidates who can work in the company office in Kyiv

📍What you’ll do (Responsibilities)
Perform formal and exploratory testing
Submit bug reports and define each bug’s importance
Manage client-reported bugs and other team members before sending to dev
Prepare test cases
Investigate tricky bugs
Track and own bugs during their lifecycle

📍What we look for (Requirements)
At least 1 years as a QA engineer
Understanding of client-server architecture
Experience with API testing
Experience with web testing
Experience of doing functional and exploratory testing
Understanding of the need for testing/quality control/quality assurance and what goals they accomplish
Understanding of the software lifecycle and the role of QA in it

📍Nice-to-have skills
Experience doing integration testing and GUI testing
Basic knowledge of DB management
Knowledge of programming
Automation skills; the ability to develop new automation tests in the existing framework and debug existing ones (Currently our stack is Python+Selenium)

Analytical and troubleshooting mindset
Team player and good communication skills

Desire to learn and grow as a QA specialist


▪️Within three months you will:

Own the entire cycle of work on bugs
Test new functionalities
Perform regression testing
Be able to test integrations and investigate tricky cases under supervision

▪️Within six months you will:
Be able to work on any bug, exception, and healthchecker independently
Be able to perform feature and regression testing, and track all the amendments till the green light for release
Create test documentation
