QA Manual (Junior)

Position Description:

You will play a vital role in maintaining and improving the quality of our software products. Your responsibilities will include manual testing, defect identification, test case preparation, and collaboration with development teams to rectify errors. We expect you to actively learn and apply new technologies and methodologies to enhance testing efficiency.

Main Responsibilities:

Perform manual testing of web applications, mobile, and desktop applications, ensuring defect discovery and resolution.

Develop and execute test cases according to the test plan.

Participate in the regression testing process to ensure product stability.

Collaborate closely with the development team and other QA to identify and resolve identified errors.

Document and report testing outcomes.

Candidate Requirements:

Experience in software testing for at least 0.5 years.

Ability to work in a team and good communication skills.

Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.

Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.

Technical Skills:

Understanding of software testing concepts, including manual testing processes, test case creation, and defect reporting.

Familiarity with testing web applications, mobile, and desktop applications across different platforms.

Familiarity with project management and bug-tracking tools, such as JIRA.

Knowledge of test management tools, like TestRail.

Familiarity with browser developer tools.

Familiarity with SQL database tools.

Knowledge of API testing tools, such as Postman or SoapUI.

Knowledge of the specifics of testing applications built on a microservices architecture.

Desired Skills:

Knowledge of CI/CD concepts and experience with continuous integration and delivery tools, like Jenkins, GitLab CI.

Theoretical knowledge of test automation, including an understanding of automation principles and tools.
