QA specialist (offline)

Barwenock is a US-based award-winning software engineering company with experience in developing complex solutions for companies worldwide. Currently, we’re looking for the QA specialist for the upcoming project!

Our candidate:
Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to thoroughly evaluate software applications and identify potential defects or issues.
Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to validate software functionality and performance across different platforms and environments.
Collaborate closely with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure the timely resolution of identified issues.
Utilize automated testing tools and frameworks to streamline the testing process and improve efficiency.
Document test results, track defects, and provide detailed reports to communicate findings and recommendations to the development team.
Participate in Agile or Scrum development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.
Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in software quality assurance or testing roles.
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, techniques, and best practices.
Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, TestNG, or JUnit.
Proficiency in writing SQL queries for database testing and validation.
Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or TestRail.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify and isolate software defects effectively.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

The role is designed for individuals with existing commitments, requiring a minimum of 30 hours weekly and offering flexibility to accommodate current work schedules.
