Senior Project manager (offline)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the development of an Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR). The successful candidate will oversee a team of highly skilled professionals, ensuring efficient coordination and timely delivery of project milestones. This role requires strong project management expertise, with a focus on adhering to strict timelines while optimizing resource utilization.

Client – is a leading provider of out-of-home parcel delivery services. The company is dedicated to enhancing the consumer experience and promoting sustainable last-mile delivery methods.

HQ – France

Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Proven experience in project management, with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget
- Deep technical expertise in AMR technology, with a solid understanding of software, hardware, and electronic systems
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and coordinate teams effectively
- Experience managing stakeholder relationships and addressing concerns in a dynamic project environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing project requirements and constraints
- Proficiency in English (verbal and written)

Nice to have:
- Experience or certifications in project management and AMR technology would be advantageous

Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning and Execution:
- Develop a detailed project plan outlining tasks, milestones, and timelines, prioritizing adherence to the project schedule over strict budget constraints.
- Monitor project progress closely, identifying potential delays or bottlenecks and implementing corrective actions to maintain schedule integrity.

2. Team Leadership and Coordination:
- Lead and motivate a diverse team of engineers, developers, and technicians, fostering collaboration and effective communication among team members.

3. Technical Expertise:
- Utilize deep technical knowledge in AMR technology to oversee the development of software, hardware, and electronic components required for the project.
- Ensure seamless integration of different subsystems, prioritizing functionality and performance over cost optimization.

4. Stakeholder Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, managing expectations and providing regular updates on project progress.

5. Quality Assurance and Testing:
- Implement robust testing protocols to validate the functionality and reliability of the AMR system, prioritizing thorough testing within the project schedule.
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to identify and address any issues or defects.

6. Budget and Resource Management:
- Manage project budget effectively, prioritizing spending to maximize value and minimize waste while delivering on project timelines.
