Middle/Senior Data Engineer (offline)

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to work in the our client’s data team, focusing on the technical aspects of data collection, storage, processing, and analysis.

Experience / Skills:

2+ years of experience as a Data Engineer
Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, Scala), databases (SQL and NoSQL), and data processing frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark, Hadoop)
Experience with or knowledge of data integration tools (e.g., Apache NiFi, Talend, Airflow) and data storage solutions (e.g., Data Lakes, Data Warehouses)
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
Ability to analyze data problems and contribute to the development of innovative solutions
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to document and explain technical details clearly to non-technical team members
Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies in the field of data engineering
Upper-Intermediate level of English

Responsibilities:

Assist in the design, construction, and maintenance of scalable data pipelines for data collection, data mining, and analytics using various tools and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, Spark)
Help manage database systems, perform routine maintenance, ensure database performance and reliability, and assist with database design and storage
Implement processes and tools to monitor data quality, ensuring production data is always accurate and available for key stakeholders and business processes
Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other teams to support their data infrastructure needs and ensure data integrity and consistency across the organization
Provide technical support for data-related issues, document technical processes, and contribute to the development of best practices in data management and engineering
