Senior DevOps Engineer (offline)

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer, Part-time Contractor, to join our DOOR3 team to maintain the DevOps side of our projects with focus on CI/CD and application support when emergencies pop up. It is a fully remote position. You will work with US-based clients, so good conversational English (Upper-Intermediate/B2) is expected.

Essential Job Duties:
- Collaborate with engineering teams on projects and improve the operational readiness of product features;
- Deploy, automate, maintain, manage and scale cloud and on-site solutions that require little to no maintenance;
- Identify opportunities for CI/CD improvements to automate time-intensive or repetitive tasks;
- Evaluate and enhance existing systems, with a forward-looking approach to scalability, reliability, and efficiency for a 5-10 years vision;
- Project support from the infrastructure perspective.

Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience (5+ years) in DevOps;
- Experience maintaining GitHub repositories;
- Experience in working with CI/CD solutions (we use Github Actions);
- Experience writing scripts to automate manual tasks;
- Experience working with monitoring tools and logging;
- Experience supporting infrastructure for multiple stacks (Node.js, .Net, Php) - Familiarity with Linux administration;
- Strong understanding of Cloud Providers (AWS/Azure and to a lesser extent GCP);
- Solid Kubernetes / Docker knowledge;
- Infrastructure as Code via Terraform and other tools;
- Ability to troubleshoot and adapt system resources to meet performance;
- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology and SDLC.

Desirable Skills & Experience:
- Experience working with event-driven multi-service backend stack;
- Windows administration;
- Generic Cloud CI (AWS/Azure);
- Experience configuring Nginx;
- Experience with Jenkins/TeamCity;
- Knowledge of inner workings for RDBMS and SQL;
- Professional background in software development.
