QA Engineer

We are looking for a QA Engineer to work with the dbForge Studio products, that belong to the line of full-featured IDEs for database development and administering.
The technology stack that we use: C #, WinForms, WCF, DevExpress, ANTLR.

Requirements:

- 2+ years of experience in testing;
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, or a related field;
- Experience with databases and constructing SQL queries;
- Experience in testing desktop applications;
- Understanding of the basic principles of software development;
- Experience in testing real-life software systems;
- Experience with version control systems
- Knowledge of bug tracking systems;
- Experience working in a large team;
- Ability to work with documentation;
- Flexible logical thinking;
- Communication skills, attentiveness, responsibility, and activity.

Responsibilities:

- Testing new and developed functionality;
- Testing: regression, acceptance, functional, etc.;
- Writing of SQL requests;
- Creation of test cases and test documentation;
- Automation of individual components of products;
- Performance of tasks for research and implementation of new functionality for the product.

Will be a plus:

- Ability to deploy and configure SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, and PG database instances;
- Knowledge of virtualization systems Virtual Box, VWWare;
- Knowledge of programming languages;
- Experience with OS Linux;
- Practical experience with databases.
