SRE/DevOps Engineer in Poland Offline
What you’ll do:
● Contribute as a (Senior) SRE/DevOps team member focused on modernization and automation
● Be a champion for DevOps principles and culture change
● Be responsible for working on building, automating, and supporting application and infrastructure deployment services that target Equifax’s Public Cloud Environments.
● Design and implement monitoring and self-healing processes
● Identify and Implement Process Improvements and documentation
● Design and implement orchestration/workflows that integrate multiple services to provide self-service fully automated services.
● Utilize engineering and programming skills focused on enabling a DevOps model
● Configuration and change management
● Develop and document operations run books
● Lead and develop team from a technical and managerial perspective
● Participate in and provide feedback on systems engineering and design
● Provide input on the future execution of the delivery and management of environments with a strong emphasis on automation, security, scalability and resilience
● Support during month-end activity (1 week a month if required)
What experience you need:
● GCP preffered (Associate Cloud Engineer) / AWS / Azure certification at least Associate level or readiness to obtain cloud certification before your start day
● 5 years of experience in developing public cloud infrastructure using IAC tools Terraform
● 5 years of experience DevOps/CICD methodologies and technologies
● 5 years of experience in GCP/AWS using basic services like Compute Engine, VPC, GKE, Bigquery or similar AWS technologies
● 3 year of experience with Agile and DevOps concepts, developing monitoring architecture and implementing monitoring agents, dashboards and alerts using tools like Pagerduty, Datadog, grafana.
● 5 years of experience using or integrating CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Nexus, GitHub
● 5 years of experience managing project costs, schedules, scope, and risk, with appropriate reporting of status and variance.
● 5 years of experience of Google Suite Tools, Confluence and JIRA
● Experience with scripting tools
What could set you apart
● Experience using tools/technologies to develop infrastructure as code (IAC) such as Terraform, Chef, Ansible, Puppet
● Experience designing/developing Policy as Code
● Software development experience in 2 or languages
● Experience in system administration for OS (Linux, Windows) and/or middleware (web servers, application servers, database, etc)
● Experience working in a hybrid cloud environment or transforming applications from on-premise data centers to public cloud
● Experience with one or more Public Cloud Providers (Google, Amazon, Azure)
● Excellent verbal, written and ‘attention to detail’ skills
● Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
● Strong interpersonal and time management skills
● A basic understanding of infrastructure and application components
● Excellent collaboration skills and ability to influence cross-functional teams including Infrastructure Services, Business Technology, Security and Operations and facilitate conversations that lead to agreed direction
● Ability and desire to work with people all over the world, with the probability of a varying work schedule to accommodate different time zones
