Migrations DevOps Engineer ( for GoDaddy) (offline)

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer who will work on our migration and execution system with our engineering unit in Lviv. Our team is working on consolidation of GoDaddy platforms: we consolidate existing platforms and new acquisitions by migrating these to the target platforms of choice.

You will be responsible for investigating platforms, preparing full automated scripts using our migration framework, help the Migration Operators debugging failed migrations and optimize our existing infrastructure and processes.



Responsibilities:
- Investigate source and target Hosting Platforms and develop processes to migrate the workload between them
- Build communication Modules for the provisioning / deprovisioning APIs
- Build systems for automated migration process
- Ensure the performance and scalability of the Migration Tech Framework
- Debug and eliminate logical issues in the Migration Flow.


Skills, Qualifications and Personal Qualities Required:
- Strong Linux administration experience (Bash, shell utilities, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of Ansible (experience writing custom modules is a plus)
- Knowledge of Python/Bash
- Experience with hosting panels (cPanel, Plesk etc.)
- Good Spoken English
- Experience with APIs (REST, SOAP)
- Experience with Git
- Strong experience with Web Servers (Apache/IIS)
- Experience with MySQL/MsSQL
- Hands-on experience with troubleshooting and diagnostic on OS/Applayers
- ELK knowledge would be a plus
- Ability to work quickly and effectively
- Team player – able to operate in a congenial and open manner
