The Client is working on a SAAS product that will help staffing companies and HR departments of enterprise customers. Their Dutch team has developed the platform for about 3 years, and our client wants to scale up by adding remote engineers. We seek a talented and experienced Full-Stack Developer with expertise in Laravel and Vue.js to join our dynamic team. Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Full-Stack Developer, specializing in Laravel and Vue.js
- Proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related web technologies
- Extensive experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs and working with JSON data
- Strong knowledge of Laravel framework
- Solid understanding of Vue.js and its core principles, including components, directives, and state management (Vuex)
- Familiarity with frontend build tools like Webpack and package managers such as NPM/Yarn
- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git
- Database proficiency with PostgreSQL or other relational databases
- Familiarity with Kubernetes would be a plus
- Ability to write clean, well-documented code with a focus on code quality and maintainability
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues independently
- Good understanding of user experience (UX) principles and ability to translate UI/UX designs into functional web applications
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work effectively within a team environment

Will be a plus:
- Experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
- Familiarity with Event Sourcing
- Understanding of Command Query Responsibility Segregation (CQRS)
- Knowledge of Hexagonal Architecture

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (designers, product managers, and other developers) to understand project requirements and translate them into technical implementation
- Design and implement responsive, user-friendly frontend interfaces using Vue.js
- Develop server-side logic and backend functionalities using Laravel, ensuring seamless integration with the frontend
- Build APIs and web services to support various client applications and third-party integrations
- Optimize application performance, ensuring high speed and responsiveness across all platforms
- Troubleshoot and debug issues, performing thorough testing to identify and resolve bugs promptly
- Ensure code quality, maintainability, and scalability through code reviews and best practices
- Collaborate with DevOps to deploy applications and maintain server infrastructure when necessary
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, incorporating them into the development process as appropriate
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall improvement of development processes and strategies
