Senior AI/ML Developer (offline)

In Venstar Inc we’re developing cloud-connected equipment including thermostats various sensors (temperature, humidity, motion, etc), lighting control and energy monitoring system. At the moment we’re using AWS services (AWS Redshift, S3) to process and retain this data, for which we have SQL-based analytics and reporting in place. Ideal candidate should be able to propose and implement ML analytics for device state analysis and trends/anomalies prediction.

Your Responsibilities

* Lead development and implementation of machine learning algorithms (including LLM) for our applications (time-series sensor data coming from devices), ensuring optimal performance and scalability
* Architect ML infrastructure
* Use large data sets to develop algorithms capable of learning and eventually making predictions
* Analyze use cases of ML algorithms, ranking by success probability and applying the outcome to support business decisions
* Conduct thorough analysis of data sets to identify patterns, trends, and insights to improve AI models.
* Design and implement data pipelines for collecting, processing, and preparing data for AI training.
* Contribution to software development in close collaboration with the team

Your profile

* Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related
* Experience in product development of ML related products and solutions
* Solid understanding of ML algorithms, proficient in math and statistics
* Proficient experience with programming languages and data tools
* Hands-on with Python scientific stack
* Experience in building up machine learning train and release pipelines
* Analytical mindset and solution-driven personality
* Good oral and written English

Desirable:

* Knowledge of time series and geo-data
* Experience with Tensorflow, Keras, R, Jupyter
* Knowledge of data version control and ML metadata
* Experience in LLMs, Prompt Engineering, and model optimization
* Experience with AWS Cloud
* PostgreSQL
* NodeJS
