Middle/Senior Project-Event Manager (offline)

About the role:


We are searching for an enthusiastic event manager in Web3 with a "can-do" attitude to assist in event management and hosting, enhancing our organization's image, improving client loyalty, and enhancing our brand-to-client experience.


You will own the entire event roadmap (conferences, hackathons, virtual events, side-events, meetups, etc.), both organizing Hacken's own events and managing Hacken's representative attendance. The event manager will be tasked with researching and securing venues, planning and managing our events calendar, negotiating quotes and agreements with vendors, assisting with event marketing, monitoring timeframes and budgets, networking, and delivering on event brief objectives.


Your creativity, organizational skills, and vision will assist our organization in amplifying brand visibility, enhancing client and employee relations, and improving our organization's growth through events that effectively communicate business strategy and brand personality.


The ideal candidate for this role should demonstrate exceptional organizational abilities and responsibility, superb interpersonal skills, multitasking, and excellent time management.





● Planning, preparing, and executing events from start to finish, overseeing all aspects of event preparation. Actively track event expenses and maintain accurate records of invoices and contracts.


● Working with budgets and reporting to the Marketing Director and CBDO.


● Executing our entire events strategy and owning the roadmap, budgeting, coordinating requested attendance, speaker slots, sponsorship, and implementing best practices.


● Managing event-related collaborations & relationships with Hacken partners.


● Identifying and implementing tools to streamline event processes and coordination, optimizing efficiency and effectiveness.


● Manage multiple event projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and allocating resources effectively.


● Coordinating with Hacken team members on attendance, logistics, ticket procurement, and other tasks related to our team attending and participating effectively at events.


● Managing the merchandise stocking and procurement process for events.


● Organizing & assisting travel-related processes, including hotel and ticket bookings, visa applications, and transportation arrangements.




Minimum 1 year of proven experience as an event manager, preferably in Web3. Portfolio and previous experience will be requested.


Advanced English


Google Sheets/ Excel proficiency


Excellent organizational, project management, and time-management skills.

Knowledge of KPIs and marketing techniques for event management.
