Senior Engineer with Elixir at the Fintech project

We are looking for a Senior Engineer with Elixir to take over the maintenance of the Fintech-related project.

What is this project about?
This long-term Fintech project helps to work with taxes, tax refunds, and tax incentives on the US market.
The project supports Finance and tax-related business logic and is successful in the US market.
Software and dedicated tax professionals collaborate seamlessly to optimize users’ R&D tax credit services. It simplifies the process for everyone - just upload the data, and the platform handles the analyses, the user provides the necessary tax forms, and clients enjoy the benefits!
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be a crucial part of our engineering team, responsible for developing and maintaining robust and scalable software solutions using Elixir.

Where is the client from?
USA

Who are the people I am going to work with?
We are looking for a team of 2-3 Elixir Engineers who will be in direct communication with the client and Lead expert on the client side.
We understand the importance of the management and also allocate PM from our side.

How many stages of the interview are there?
- Interview with the Recruiter – up to 30 min.;
- Tech interview on our side – up to 1 hour;
- Tech interview on our client side – up to 1 hour.

Requirements:
- 4+ years of working experience;
- Experience with Elixir and popular frameworks like Phoenix;
- Experience with Heroku;
- Ability to do estimates (story points, hours, t-shirt size, three-point estimation (pert.) etc.);
- Ability to plan the development work, releases, and maintenance with a focus on quality;
- Ability to do quick research, spikes, and investigations;
- Excellent understanding of refactoring techniques;
- Upper-intermediate or higher level of English.

Would be a plus:
- Python knowledge would be a plus;
- React.js knowledge would be a plus;

We expect you to:
- Maintenance of the current platform;
- Conduct and participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to coding standards, and knowledge sharing within the team;
- Work closely with teams, including project managers, and engineers, to translate business requirements into technical solutions;
- Implement and maintain automated testing procedures to ensure the reliability and integrity of the software;
- Create and maintain technical documentation for code, processes, and best practices.
- Be responsible for release management and post-release maintenance.
