DevOps Engineer for a Sports Retail Shop

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to develop a microservices-based online platform for a sporting goods retail company where customers can purchase various furniture and equipment items.

Requirements:
-Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for infrastructure management and deployment
-Experience with CloudFlare for optimizing web performance and security
-Strong knowledge of Nginx for web server configuration and optimization
-Familiarity with php-fpm for managing PHP processes in a web server environment
-Expertise in fine-tuning MySQL databases for optimal performance
-Skill in fine-tuning PHP servers to enhance performance and reliability
-Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Ansible or Terraform for automated infrastructure provisioning and management
-Experience with Solr
-Strong scripting skills in Bash for automation and scripting tasks
-Experience implementing Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for automated software delivery
-Proficient in version control systems like Git for code management
-Familiarity with New Relic for application performance monitoring and management
Will be a plus:
-Experience with profiling PHP scripts to identify and optimize performance bottlenecks
-Knowledge of OpCache for opcode caching to improve PHP script execution speed
-Understanding of Just-In-Time (JIT) compilation for optimizing PHP performance further

Responsibilities:
To work as part of a team, communicate ideas and challenges clearly, and collaborate with designers, developers, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
Bring your own ideas to the table and get things done both independently and with your team
Configure and optimize Nginx web servers to ensure efficient handling of web traffic
Manage PHP processes in web server environments using php-fpm for optimal performance
Fine-tune MySQL databases to ensure optimal performance and reliability
Optimize PHP servers to enhance performance and reliability for web applications
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Ansible or Terraform for automated provisioning and management of infrastructure components
Develop and maintain scripts in Bash for automation of various tasks and processes
Implement Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate software delivery processes
Utilize New Relic for application performance monitoring and management to ensure optimal application performance and identify areas for improvement
