Data Analyst (offline)

We have a US-based client in the marketing domain. We're forming a team for this client and looking for a Data Analyst. You'll join a team of skilled and mature professionals taking part in decision-making process.

For more than 15 years, our client has spearheaded the development and management of successful email and direct mail campaigns for the diverse clientele in the national restaurant, retail, B2B, and e-commerce sectors.

 

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct in-depth analyses, including Trade Area Analysis, Customer Segmentation, and Geographic Targeting, leveraging advanced tools and methodologies to drive strategic decision-making in marketing campaigns.

- Develop and report on key performance metrics to assess campaign effectiveness, identify optimization opportunities, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.

- Develop a deep, working understanding of clients' businesses to identify ideal customers and prospects, utilizing sophisticated data models and analytics techniques to drive targeted marketing efforts that align with client objectives.

- Utilize data visualization tools such as Excel, Alteryx, and Tableau to synthesize complex data into clear and actionable insights, enabling informed decision-making across the organization.

- Provide clear, concise, and actionable recommendations derived from thorough analysis of marketing campaign and client data, driving continuous improvement and innovation in marketing strategies.

- Foster strong collaborative relationships with cross-functional team members and clients, facilitating effective communication and alignment on marketing objectives, strategies, and execution plans.

- Support the implementation of robust measurement methodologies across campaigns to ensure accurate tracking, analysis, and optimization of marketing initiatives, driving continuous improvement and maximizing ROI.

- Take ownership of professional development, actively seeking opportunities to enhance data analysis, marketing strategy, and client engagement skills, contributing to personal growth and the team's overall success.

 

Requirements:

- 3-5 years in analytics, consumer insights, modeling, or data analysis.

- Experience with quantitative or qualitative research and working with large data sets to create insights.

- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Data Analytics, Marketing, Business, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.

- Advanced Proficiency in Excel, Tableau, Alteryx, SQL, and Dataiku (desired, not required). Passing minimum proficiency tests is mandatory.

- Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, macros, database manipulation, and what-if analysis. Knowledge of statistical software packages and coding languages (e.g., SAS, SPSS, R, Python) is highly valued.

- Evidence of email and/or direct mail marketing acumen is a plus, along with familiarity with syndicated and customer data environments.
