Middle/Senior Full-stack Map Developer Offline

THE PROJECT

The project is about a public map development for telecom regulators with millions of data points, which in the future will scale as internal products that should be replicated for different clients. Performance is one of the key requirements, as it is a public web page and a query database for all points is not a solution, so we need someone with experience in Tile Server, and the process of Tile generation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Building and maintaining scalable applications

- Communication with stakeholders, management, and other team members

- Writing reliable and high-quality code for the high-load application

- Being responsible for the architecture of features

- Working with our current team, providing experience and solutions in map development

REQUIREMENTS:

What You Need:

- 3+ years of commercial experience in software development

- 2-3 released projects related to map development

- Commercial experience with VueJS

- Experience or theoretical knowledge of Deck.gl or similar

- Experience working with some of the following technologies: Tile server, Tile generation, Mapbox

What We Would Love That You Have:

- Commercial experience with NodeJS

- Experience in ElasticSearch and MongoDB is valuable

- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering / Computer Science or related discipline required
