Frontend React Developer (with Next.JS skills) $2500-3200 Offline

Frontend Developer works in a scrum team which is responsible for developing Next Generation of e-commerce frontend. You will work in the scrum team that develops new functions for the eCommerce platform. You will participate in the implementation of technical and process innovations in frontend development, help in solving any emerging challenges and technical problems. You will support the skill community, share knowledge and experience with other frontend experts.

Candidate needs to have proven track of Next.JS implementation

Responsibilities

• Working on topics related to implementation in the Next Generation frontend for e-commerce;

• Providing technical consultation on frontend related topics;

• Taking part in code review to help improve team’s knowledge and to suggest improvement;

• Investigating latest technology and build quick Proof of Concept functionalities to address future business needs;

• Promoting in the best-in-class development principles and quality standards – i.e. Clean Code, BDD/TDD;

• Contributing in in the Development Community of Practice to agree and endorse the development principles and best practices for the company development teams;

• Helping the organization structure complex engineering issues: technology, development methodologies, Continuous Improvement / Continuous Delivery

Requirements

• 4 years+ experience building large-scale software applications;

• 4+ years proven track record in this mid FE role preferably in an international and multicultural environment working in classing and virtual teams;

• Strong fundamentals in JavaScript web development;

• Knowledge of architecture design patterns;

• Experience with writing automated tests (e.g. Jest, Karma, Jasmine, Mocha, AVA, tape);

• Professional experience with Next.JS framework - Must have;

• Professional experience with modern JavaScript web framework (React, Ember, etc.)

• A solid understanding of semantic HTML, CSS, and core JavaScript concepts;

• Knowledge of software craftmanship principles (Clean Code, Clean coder, Clean architecture);

• Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery using continuous delivery tooling such as Jenkins/AzureDevOps and practical experience with Docker containerization;

• Understanding of performance, cross-browser / cross-device development, testing, optimization, and frontend performance requirements;

• Experience of confluence

• Experience working with Jira

• Fluency in English — verbal and written

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in computer science (or equivalent experience)

As a plus

• Knowledge of UX and design sensibilities, wirefrime tools like Abstract, Figma;

• Knowledge of tracking tools (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics)
