Software Delivery Manager / Project Manager (Fintech) $2000-2500 Offline
Mortgage Software Consulting and Development company is seeking an experienced Software Delivery Manager / Project Manager.
The goal of this role is to help company clients drive the highest ROI from their software development investments while ensuring an excellent customer experience.
As a Project Manager, you will oversee software product development for one of the company’s clients, a US-based B2B SaaS Fintech startup.
You will lead a team of 3 Fullstack Engineers, 1 QA Specialist, and 1 Product Designer to build a FinOps platform that automates accounts receivable processes.
⚡️ RESPONSIBILITIES
Backlog grooming and prioritisation
1. Facilitate calls with stakeholders to identify problems and priorities.
2. Organize raw input into a prioritized backlog of projects.
3. Facilitate sign-off from the stakeholders on the prioritized backlog.
Project shaping and preparation for development
1. Capture requirements and shape solutions to the problems
2. Work with a Product designer to create UI/UX that fulfills the requirements
3. Work with Engineers to design feasible and effective solutions.
Sprint planning, reporting, and expectations management
1. Work with the team to define the scope of the sprint
2. Conduct demo, sprint planning, and internal sprint kick-off calls.
3. Confirm sprint scope with the client and manage their expectations.
4. Provide stakeholders with written reports at the end of each sprint.
5. Address ad-hoc client requests and protect the team from distractions.
Development facilitation and release management
1. Conduct daily stand-up meetings with your team.
2. Provide feedback and remove roadblocks for engineers
3. Provide QA with the information needed to define test cases
4. Test and give final sign-off on the delivered project
5. Define the scope of the release and facilitate the promotion of releases to production

✅ REQUIRMENTS
- Excellent English communication skills (written & spoken)
- 2+ years of commercial experience as a Software Project/Delivery Manager
- Commercial experience in project management in professional services companies
- Excellent stakeholder expectations and scope management skills
- Deep technical expertise and understanding of the SDLC
- Commercial experience leading a SaaS Product development team
- Excellent business analysis skills (capturing requirements, mapping user flows, and presenting solutions)
- Eye for UX design and SaaS product design patterns
- Proficiency in project management software
