QA Student/ Trainee (offline)

DevCom is looking for a Student / Trainee QA who can join our team in the Lviv office.

We are currently seeking a motivated and passionate individual to join our team as a Student/Trainee QA Engineer. In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow in the field of Quality Assurance, working alongside experienced professionals in a dynamic and friendly environment. Moreover, you will have a good chance to work on an e-commerce project that is constantly improving, has a wide functionality and a lot of updates all the time, so you will not have time to be bored. Location:Lviv

Work mode: This is a full-time position located in our Lviv office. During the student program it would be great to work from the office, after this period you can work both from the office and remotely.

About the project: online store - a marketplace for selling air guns, sports, and tourist goods. It should be developed as a Marketplace and refactored to new technologies and architectural solutions.

Requirements and skills:

Mandatory hard skills:

- 3-6 months of IT/QA courses or training.

- English level - Upper-Intermediate (B2) or better (written and conversational).

- Knowledge of software quality theory (methodologies, tools and processes).

- Knowledge and basic experience in applying various testing techniques and methods, including functional, integration, regression, Smoke, and Sanity testing.

- Ability to create and execute test cases.

Mandatory soft skills:

- Analytical and problem-solving skills with close attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork.

- Proactive and result-oriented approach to quality assurance.

- Commitment to maintain the highest standards of software quality.

- Ability to analyse and structure information.

- Excellent attention to detail.

- The ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.

- A logical, curious, and analytical mindset with a desire to interrogate data.

- Excellent presentation and communication skills.

Would be a plus:

- Experience with e-commerce platforms (may have been involved in training projects).

- Some experience with SQL, Jira, Confluence, and any test management tool.

- Some experience in web, mobile, cross-browser testing, API testing (Postman).
