Junior Data analyst

In this role, you will be responsible for conducting data analysis of various volumes and types, generating and testing behavioral, fraudulent, and analytical hypotheses, and developing and improving decision-making strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct data analysis of diverse data sets, both structured and unstructured.

Generate and test behavioral, fraudulent, and analytical hypotheses to enhance our understanding of financial data.

Develop and refine decision-making strategies based on data-driven insights.

Work on the development, validation, and monitoring of scoring models.

Draw conclusions from analytics using tools for data analysis and visualization.

Analyze and modify reporting to provide valuable insights to stakeholders.

Maintain comprehensive documentation of analytical processes and findings.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

Excellent proficiency in SQL for efficient data retrieval and manipulation.
Proven experience in risk analysis within the banking, microfinance, or fintech sectors.
Ability to work with large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
Proficiency in data analysis using Excel, including pivot tables and VBA.
Knowledge of programming languages such as R or Python.
Basic understanding of machine learning concepts.
