We are a US-based startup working in the biotech domain. With our platform, you can interactively analyze millions of molecules in the browser, use built-in tools for data exploration, and develop new functionality as plugins.

An SDET, otherwise known as a software development engineer in test, takes part equally in software development and testing processes.

Stack:

• Languages: TS, JS, Dart, SQL

• CI/CD: Jenkins (Groovy), GitHub Actions;

• Tools: Docker, Git;

Responsibilities:

• Your work will primarily focus on developing internal tools, testing systems, and tests;

• Collaboration with developers to develop automated tests, expand our existing test automation framework and test coverage, and improve the overall quality;

• Development for our internal utilities to simplify and assist in the development of platform extensions;

• Day-to-day evaluation of platform quality, creating and attending platform improvement requests. Look for user experience improvements;

• Review and contribute to the documentation, ensuring completeness and accuracy;

Requirements:

Knowledge in either Javascript/Typescript;

Understanding of software testing patterns (unit tests, integration tests, etc) and best practices;

Knowledge of web applications (client/server, databases, HTTP, HTML (CSS, DOM), REST, API) and how to test them;

Good spoken/written English, ability to communicate directly with clients (at least B2);.

Nice to have:

• Familiar with data structures and algorithms, profiling and optimization;

• SQL Knowledge;

• Scientific background;
