Project Manager for the UX/UI Design & Build agency
Stera Global specializes in UX/UI design and development projects for US, Canada and Australia markets. Our client base is quite diverse - we work with funded startups, premium brands, small and medium businesses looking for growth as well as global fortune 200 companies. We're best known for our emphasis on quality, functionality and attention to detail. Currently we're looking for a junior project manager to join our remote team.
Our requirements :
Position Type : remote full-time position.
Experience : entry-level position, experience managing design or development projects will be a plus.
1. Fluent English, experience working directly with native-speaking clients.
2. Ideally, experience managing design & development projects. Portfolio - ability to list real website/app/software design and dev projects you managed will be a plus.
3. Ability to estimate and quote projects as well as fit into those estimates.
4. Ability and desire to reach high quality expectations.
Responsibilities :
For every new project, the process usually looks like this :
1. You receive a new project for estimation
2. You discuss the project with owners, art director, design and development teams, spend some time planning and then come back with an estimate in a form of a scope of work, project plan/roadmap and X hrs of effort.
3. Based on the estimate you created above, the design team creates a custom proposal.
4. You join on a call with the client to walk the proposal along with Art Director/BA/Dev Lead/Founder
5. Once the project is approved, you manage the progress, communicate with the client team and ensure successful delivery. This includes clear communication with the client, progress presentations, writing meeting notes, status updates, planning/replanning projects based on client needs and updated expectations, managing team member's progress, daily meetings with the team.
6. You receive monthly payments based your agreed salary.
On most projects you will be working with one of our founders along with a team of designers, developers, SEO experts and end client team(Founders, C-level execs, Senior Marketing and Product VPs). You will be responsible for project timeline, budget in hours, communication, tasks and overall project progress. Art director, Dev lead or a SEO lead will be working in sync with you to ensure that our design & code quality guidelines are met.
Our team is based in the EU and US, with most people are located in Poland, UK and Ireland. The majority are Ukrainians.
