Automation engineer (PLC) $2000-2700 Offline

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Automation Engineer with experience in Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) to join our team as remotely.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated systems and processes using PLC technology that increase efficiency, reduce errors, and enhance productivity in our construction building projects.

The Automation Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, design automation solutions, and implement and maintain the automation systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain PLC-based automated systems and processes.

• Analyze existing processes and recommend automation solutions using PLC technology.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that automation systems using PLC technology meet business requirements.

• Develop test cases and perform testing of automation systems using PLC technology to ensure reliability and accuracy.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with PLC-based automation systems.

• Document PLC-based automation processes, procedures, and specifications.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in PLC technology.

Qualifications Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering or related field.

• Minimum of 3 — 4 years of experience in Automation Engineering with a focus on PLC technology.

• Expertise in PLC programming languages such as Ladder Logic, Structured Text, or Function Block Diagrams.

• Strong knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as Ethernet/IP, Modbus, or Profibus.

• Experience in designing, developing, and controlling PLC-based automation systems.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
