Senior SAP BTP Developer Offline

We're building a retail system that will impact the whole supply chain of one of the major European retailers. It's a platform with a few solutions built on top of it, most of them facing the retailer's employees: shelves fulfillment app, admin panel, analytics tool, shelf design tool. All works on SAP data (HANA database), the platform is built on top of SAP BTP, and each app is Node.js backend + SAP UI5 (JavaScript) frontend + CAP.

Should have:

- Expert knowledge in SAP BTP Cloud Foundry, SAP UI5, and/or Fiori Elements in a DevOps environment

- Excellent level of expertise in SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP) and HANA Cloud (data modeling and cross-container access)

- Good programming skills in Node.js and Java as well as OData and XML

- Hands-on experience with relevant SAP BTP Services

- Profound experience with UI development tech stacks such as Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG)

- Business Application Studio (BAS)

- HANA DB as a Service on BTP and/or PostgreSQL DB

- XSUAA Service

- Destination Service

- Good service, and solution-oriented work attitude as well as high analytical capabilities

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities:

Developing and operating full-stack cloud applications within a DevOps team (incl. UI, Frontend & Backend Logic, Database model, Authorization concept)

Evaluating and using SAP BTP Services

Driving quality and standards in our engineering community, providing and discussing innovative solution approaches and suggestions for improvement in the development

Following agile working principles like CI/CD, test- and design-driven development

Understanding of SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP)

Experience in SAP BTP Cloud Foundry and SAP UI5 and/or Fiori Elements in a DevOps and/or Agile environment

Programming Skills in Node.js and/or Python as well as OData Experience
