Overview:

REW is seeking an experienced Microsoft Active Directory (AD) Migration Expert to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Active Directory migrations, including expertise with the Quest Migration tool and requisite certification. This role will require hands-on experience with complex AD migrations, including moving to separate forests, diagnosing and fixing AD issues, and GPO optimization and migration.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, plan, and implement Microsoft Active Directory migrations.

2. Troubleshoot complex AD issues and provide solutions in a timely manner to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.

3. Conduct GPO optimization and migration, and ensure the enforcement of company security policies.

4. Operate, optimize, and troubleshoot the Quest Migration tool. – Strong requirement

5. Document migration strategies and maintain migration records.

6. Collaborate with other IT team members and stakeholders to ensure a seamless migration.

7. Train and mentor junior staff on AD migration best practices.

8. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and techniques in AD migrations.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

2. Significant experience (5+ years) in managing Microsoft Active Directory migrations.

3. Expert-level knowledge of Active Directory architecture, including AD objects, OUs, DNS, DHCP, and GPO.

4. Demonstrated experience in utilizing and optimizing the Quest Migration tool. Quest Migration tool certification is mandatory.

5. In-depth understanding of AD security and group policy management.

6. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a knack for troubleshooting AD-related issues.

7. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders.

8. Ability to work independently and within a team, demonstrating a high level of initiative and flexibility.

9. Relevant certifications such as MCSE: Mobility, MCSA: Windows Server 2016/2019 will be a plus.

Work Conditions:

This role may require availability outside of regular office hours to address urgent issues or to implement migrations during low-traffic periods.
