Junior QA Engineer (offline) $900-1100

Big Drop is looking for a QA Engineer to join our team for a long term to participate in the support of our projects. We are a web development company with HQ in USA and development team in Ukraine.

Projects are on Wordpress and Drupal.

Requirements:

• At least 1 year experience in web testing;

• Good knowledge of HTML, CSS;

• Knowledge of methods and types of testing (manual testing, Smoke, functional, GUI, regression, performance testing, etc.);

• Knowledge of test design techniques;

• Experience with bug-tracking system;

• Understanding of bug lifecycle;

• Confidence in usage of test documentation;

• Confident pre-intermediate (at least) level of English (written/reading);

Nice to have:

• Experience with testing CMS systems (Drupal , WP, Magento)

• Basic knowledge of JavaScript, PHP, SQL;

• Automation testing;

• Experience work with REST;

• API testing.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement and execute checklists / test cases;

• Execute tests, troubleshoot failures, review and reports on results, work with development groups to identify and resolve problems;

• Perform functional, non-functional, regression, usability testing.
