Middle/Senior AQA Python (Linux) Offline

The CHI Software team is not standing still. We love our job and give it one hundred percent of us! Every new project is a challenge that we face successfully. The only thing that can stop us is… Wait, it’s nothing! The number of projects is growing, and with them, our team too. And now we need Middle/Senior AQA (Python).

Responsibilities:

- Automation of the existing test plan, and adjustment to new requirements;

- Maintenance of the existing test plan, writing new test cases and test plans;

- Connection to remote equipment using different networking protocols/tools;

- Configuration, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of remote equipment (both software and hardware aspects);

- Writing scripts on Python to automate different tasks.

Requirements:

Must have experience with:

· Experience working on test automation development (4+ yrs);

· Experience working on embedded systems testing (2+yrs);

· Comfortable working in both manual and automated Testing tasks;

· Hands-on experience in Python (3.8+) and PyTest framework;

· Hands-on experience with XML processing;

· Hands-on experience with RestAPIs;

· Hands-on experience in embedded systems testing;

· Hands-on experience in black-box hardware testing;

· Good knowledge of the Linux operating system, and command line;

· Good understanding of networking protocols;

· Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes;

· Should be able to write & maintain functional and non-functional test cases & system level test cases;

· Test Documentation Preparation and maintenance (test plan, test cases, test results, review);

· Overseeing Daily Regression Test suite, reporting Daily Regression status;

· Should have a thorough understanding of STLC/Bug-life cycle with hands-on experience in using Test Management tools, Bug-tracking tools, reviewing QA documentation such as Test-cases, Test-plan, Traceability matrix, Test-coverage extent;

· Experience in working on complex projects that require a deep understanding of the application logic and dependencies;

· Experience with analyzing requirements, creation, and execution of test cases and reporting of test results, test plans creation;

· Good written and verbal communication skills are needed to facilitate close interaction with development teams, management, and other organizations;

· English level - Upper-Intermediate

Will be a plus:

· Manual testing, including on hardware equipment;

· Knowledge of Netconf (ncclient);

· Knowledge of YANG (ability to understand and modify YANG Modelsy);

· Python Pandas framework;

· Test Instrument Control SCPI with sockets(keysight);

· Radio Frequency Knowledge.

Project description:

There are a variety of projects that the team will be engaged with. The team is responsible for performing Integration and System tests on the Jabil mainline radio products. The core team consists of 6 testing engineers.
