Senior QA Engineer Offline
Paycord is a Ukrainian fintech company. Our product is a B2B payment service that connects interested business clients with providers that offer access to local and international payment methods.
We`re rapidly growing and inviting Senior QA Engineer to our team.
Tech stack: PHP 8, Nginx, MySQL, Redis, RabbitMQ, GitLabCI, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Grafana.
Your responsibilities:
- Work closely and communicate effectively with development and other teams to understand the features and create comprehensive test plans to verify functionality;
- Analyze functional and non-functional requirements, provide test efforts estimation;
- Perform functional, e2e, regression, integration, etc. testing of complex Web application;
- API testing;
- Issue root causes investigation using system logs, DB queries (MySQL), etc.;
- Writing and maintaining test documentation;
- Provide comprehensive, clear test runs reports;
- Continuous improvement of the testing approaches, practices and processes.
Requirements:
- 4+ years experience as manual QA (web projects);
- Advanced understanding of QA processes and methodologies;
- Strong experience with REST API;
- Strong experience with SQL;
- Strong experience with debugging tools (DevTools, Fiddler, Firebug, etc.);
- Experience with security issues and vulnerabilities;
- Good knowledge of command line;
- Hands-on experience with Test Management Tools;
- Experience in working on complex projects that require a deep understanding of the application logic and dependencies.
Nice to have:
- Experience with payment processing, FinTech domain
- Experience with performance testing
- ISTQB certification or similar.
