Embedded UI Developer Offline

We're looking for Embedded UI Developer for our client who provides high-tech solutions for color formulation, color measurement and color matching. They comprise hardware sensors, the corresponding software applications and design services for color application.

Required skills:

• 3 years of professional experience in embedded systems on Linux;

• Solid experience with Qt Native and Quick;

• General understanding of software architecture patterns;

• Flair for user interface implementation;

• Solid experience with agile methodologies like Scrum and continuous integration toolchains;

• Willing to learn, team-orientated and open to challenges;

• Open, communicative personality who easily exchanges know-how;

• Fluent in English (C1)

Beneficial:

• Knowledge of optics and/or color technology (color conversion, ICC profiles, image processing);

• Experience in the measurement instruments industry.

Responsibilities:

• Join a remote development team collaborating with a development organisation of 40 engineers across Europe;

• Develop the UI and adjacent modules of color measurement devices;

• Work with Qt Native, Quick and web technologies;

• Implement communication protocols between the device software and the surrounding ecosystem;

• Collaborate in a distributed, self-organised international Scrum team;

• Keep software documentation and tests up-to-date;

• Contribute to the life-cycle management of existing solutions based on cloud strategies.
