Delivery Manager (offline)

Forte Group is looking for an experienced Delivery Manager who will be a top-tier owner of the entire setup of approx. 100 software engineers, QA specialists and product owners, who will build a reliable liaison between Forte team and the key client stakeholders.

About the Product:
Our client's team is developing a web platform that enables end-to-end digital experience for customers applying for a mortgage in the US. From a customer perspective, the platform is a mortgage offer aggregator that allows users to upload all financial documents and provide information on what conditions they could get a mortgage from multiple providers, compare and choose the best deal. From a business perspective, this is an end-to-end business management system with both customer and internal business administrative applications and a sophisticated backend with 3rd party integrations. Architecturally, the platform consists of multiple applications, such as a consumer web application, business administration back office applications, agents portal, CRM system, documents processing, integration with IP telephony, and integrations with multiple engines that automate financial calculations.

About the Team:
Our team consists of two groups, Product Management and Engineering (incl. QA and DevOps) that work consistently with each other. The engineering team consists of multiple Feature Teams concurrently working on a set of tightly integrated business applications that all together form an entire platform, and a few dedicated teams working on core platform functionality, DevOps, Test Automation. Teams work in Azure DevOps where they manage product backlog, source code, documentation, pipelines and artifacts. Meetings and interpersonal communication run via Slack and Google Meet. The team is following the Scrum process and practicing the Agile Way of Working in close, day-to-day collaboration with each other.

We’re looking for a Delivery Manager who will enable transparency, maintain and continuously improve services delivered to the client, ensure Forte team successfully own products delivery with guaranteed quality, iteration by iteration, and renders sufficient production support.

Responsibilities:
● Ensure Forte team is setup to successfully deliver according to the client expectation
● Ensure Forte team deliverable are transparent to the client
● Ensure client expectations are effectively managed and correctly justified to match what the team realistically сan deliver
● Ensure Forte team renders necessary services to support production reliability, provides sufficient production support
● Take the lead in setting up teams and driving towards excellence in hard and soft skills
● Maintain and contribute into collaborative culture with focus on Agile values
● Maintain technical excellence and lead the teams to ensure quality first mindset, simple architecture and highest code quality
● Maintain the delivery management framework and ensure development processes are followed according to the agreed ways of working
● Provide guidance to the teams in timely delivery of the product increments and overall delivery of the technical roadmap
● Help teams to meet professional challenges, advice on best approaches, do 1-2-1 sessions with leaders, maintain personal development planning, facilitate knowledge sharing within and across the teams
● Help teams to hire right profiles and maintain career development, horizontal and vertical moves, attract and retain best talent in the teams
● Suggest innovative solutions to business problems/processes that leverage technology to make efficiency improvements and better user experience
● Communicate across various teams, client business, internal and external stakeholders to drive engineering efforts

Requirements:
● Proven ability to lead software products delivery in an Agile environment
● Proven experience managing delivery of commercial software that is available on the market, has paying customers, generates revenue for the client
● Experience with People Management and Talent Development practices in setups with 50+ engineers
● Experience with Project Management of high technical complexity in an Agile environment
● Technical background in software development (highly desired) or quality assurance
● 5+ years of experience architecting and/or leading the delivery of software products
● 2+ years of experience managing multiple teams working concurrently
