QA Team Lead (offline)
Responsibilities:
β Provide technical leadership for the chapter members.
β Collaborate closely with product owners to apply your expertise and feedback into their plans.
β Ensure new QA takes on relevant standards and policies.
β Accountable for recruitment, development and retention of technical resources including career pathway development for all technical squad members.
β Provide and apply effective performance management processes and mechanisms in increasing squad performance.
β Create an inclusive environment where Team members have freedom and safety to innovate, experiment, and learn from failure.
β Provide open and effective communication channels leading to greater knowledge transfer within the Team.
β Recruit, retention, and overall onboarding process for all level technical members of the Team.
β Provide effective career development for all level technical members of the Team.
β Work as part of a Scrum team along with the Scrum Master, and Product Owner to design, decompose, implement, and release high-end systems.
β Design and implement new features and enhance existing functionalities according to business specifications.
Requirements:
β At least 5 years of hands-on experience working in a similar position.
β Highly methodical test discipline
β Experience with Manual Testing.
β Experience with Automated Testing.
β Versed with both Backend (Logic) Testing as well as frontend (Web and API).
β Experience writing clear/informative tickets, and documenting issues in a way that will assist in future retrospective analysis.
β Knowledge and understanding of the full software development lifecycle
β Experience with Agile development methodologies
β Understanding of Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, Test Driven Development;
β A constant will to learn;
β An advocate of team collaboration;
β Good communication skills - ability to communicate clearly and concisely in English language;
Would be a +:
β Previous experience in leading technical teams;
β Certification from ISTQB (Foundation-level or higher) or other recognized software testing certification
β Experience coding and scripting in Python/BASH
β Experience with continuous integration tools (e.g. Jenkins) and Git flows.
β Experience with AWS and/or other major cloud computing environments.
β Experience with Payment Gateway technology
β Experience with Payment Service Provider integrations
