QA Junior (Software Development Engineer in Test) Offline
We are looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to write and execute manual and automated tests ensuring our product code quality. As an SDET engineer, you will be designing and implementing tests, debugging, and defining corrective actions. In addition, you will be required to review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics (e.g., defect densities and open defect counts.)

Responsibilities
-Model Intempt’s product features and architect data flow into a set of microservices.
-Develop ML-driven systems to expand capabilities and facilitate analysis on running predictive models and recommendation engines
-Actively improve the level of craftsmanship at Intempt by developing best practices and defining best strategies. Make it easy for others to create enterprise-grade data pipelines through open source tooling and frameworks.-
-Create a culture of strong ownership of data flows via producer/consumer data contracts around availability, freshness, data quality, supportability, and schema changes.
-Deliver impact by driving innovation while building and shipping software at scale
-Provide architectural guidance and mentorship to up-level the engineering organization
-Design products/services/tools and code that can be used by others while upholding the operational impact of all decisions
-Identify problems and opportunities and lead teams to architect, design, implement and operationalize systems
-Passion for mentoring and developing other engineers is a must
-Able to communicate effectively with engineers and senior executives
-Lead or help to drive data governance through frameworks, processes, and tooling
What You’ll Do
-Create detailed, and well-structured test plans and test cases
-Design, develop and execute automation scripts using testing tools
-Identify, record, document, and track bugs
-Perform regression testing when bugs are resolved
-Work with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify functional requirements and resolve issues.
-Monitor debugging process results
-Ensure code security (OWASP) compliance
-Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defects
-Track SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) metrics like SLA around up-time and response-time and work with development teams to resolve them in a timely manner
-Build and maintain Product Health dashboard for all QA processes
What You'll Need
1+ years proven work experience in software development
1+ years proven work experience in software quality assurance
-Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
-Experience in writing detailed test plans and test cases in software like QASE.io
-Solid knowledge of common test frameworks
-Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
+1 year of experience with automated testing tools
-Hands-on experience with API and front-end web performance testing tools like JMeter and Redline13
-Experience with tracking runbooks and SLA’s and SRE type troubleshooting activities with on-call engineers
-Experience with web-services testing (REST/JSON)
-Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process and tools (Jira)
-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
